Hi, we had a fantastic return on the Jag, which really proved the value of selling the car at auction. If you still have my email contact me direct.

This looks like interesting research. Waste oil heaters and waste oil boilers are another good use of waste oil. Many companies already make use of this technology when heating their workplace.

I think Nissan makes fantastic cars, no matter what the make is. I'm on my 4th Nissan right now and very much pleased with all the new technology and performance enhancements. I been getting 30mpg in city driving too, which is a good saver on gas.

Hi, Can anyone give me some advice? I've been offered £1750 for my car less 10% salvage value by an insurance company after someone went into the back of me. I've also been told I can keep the car but what I want to know is can I drive it legally after this? It is driveable & I've been using it since the accident awhile waiting the insurance company sorting something out. Damage is crumple in spare wheel well & difficulty in closing hatchback door which now requires a good 'slam'. Thanks

I can salvage old speed cameras and turn them into useful moisture measuring instruments. No longer will they terrorise safe-driving motorists who are not in the habit of causing fatal accidents by reckless motoring.

Can any type of metal be recycled? I mean, I am confident that they can be somehow, but will recycling centers actually pay you for any sort of metal? Even steel? I have a daunting amount of stuff in my backyard that I would totally be willing to haul down to the nearest recycling facility if I was sure they would give me money for it.

Purchasing category B vehicles from Bluecycle means a level playing field, category B's are only sold to UK based customers who have the necessary End of Life Vehicle Permits. All customers must complete Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes on collection, and must complete the on-line Certificate of Destruction with DVLA within one month of purchase. No other salvage operation goes to the lengths that Bluecycle do to make sure that category B vehicles do not appear on the road again.

I see some manufacturers are looking to bring in "swappage" schemes once the goverments purse runs out. Hopefully this will maintain the momentum in the new car market. And whilst we're on the topic of Scrappage, I notice that scrap metal prices are increasing!!

What about all the cat B's that go to eastern euroupe , they sell for so much money they can't possible break them to a profit , for example late 500 merc full of sewage £35,000 , they get fixed and proparbly sold back to the UK . The whole system is flawed ,and uk breakers can't buy the cars cheap enough to make a decent profit from breaking them .And what about this VIC check , you buy a 10 year old vectra with a scrape on the bumper and you have to take it for a VIC but a rolled 57 plate Ford Ranger doesn't need one because its a commercial vehicle , What is that all about ?

I hope that Bluecycle does not go down the the same 'highway' as our America invaders. This growing company offers a huge selection of salvage some of which is not what it seems. Having recently bought an older lightly damaged cat D Seat which only required a door and some paint work , I was annoyed to find that the engine was scrap and had obviously been swapped and the vehicle privately entered into the patented technological wonder auction to get rid ! This all conquering company does not distinguish between proper insurance salvage and privately entered rubbish and when your veiwing the vehicles online it is impossible to tell the difference. Now don't get me wrong, I've been buying and repairing salvage for 30 years and have repaired over 1000 cars from Fiestas to Ferraris and I know that you risk buying cars that have damage that you did not foresee and you have to be prepared to get over that and enjoy the challenge ! ,but you need a fair chance when buying online and it starts with the seller who should decribe the car, and it's source correctly, and they should be prepared to discuss the matter and not be completely uninterested.
So Bluecycle, please don't mix up your nice fresh salvage with a load of cast off's from any old where!
